Being neurodivergent means that an individual may think or learn differently to others. It is estimated that around 1 in 7 people are neurodivergent and this term covers a range of often hidden conditions, such as, but not limited to: autism spectrum, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and social anxiety. They may or may not have a diagnosis. For some people this can mean that they are better at some things than many other people and for others additional support or adjustments are required.
